About the Artist: Kira Louise.

I have always been an old soul.

Growing up, my brain never cared about the wide, flat horizon. I was always completely captivated by the secret worlds right under our feet. I could spend hours entirely lost in my own world, tracing the delicate ridges beneath a mushroom cap, watching the morning light catch a single leaf vein, or tracking the way a woodland stream shimmers in the sunshine. I was, and still am, deeply fascinated by wildlife.

That childhood wonder is the heartbeat of my art today.

My work is a quiet invitation to slow down and find the magic hidden in the micro-details. I create contemporary folklore panels by taking old, forgotten vintage frames and upcycling them into rich, moody lacquer canvases. My signature style is born from a love for physical texture, I use heavy paint to hand-sculpt three-dimensional flowers and leaves that physically erupt off the surface. Once those raw paint peaks dry, I drop into a deep hyper focus loop, using fine-tip markers to build up intricate pointillism dots, textile-like patterns.

I believe art shouldn't stay trapped inside a border. In my pieces, the branches, petals, and insects purposefully spill out past the canvas line and crawl straight onto the hand-painted woodwork, honouring the frame as an active part of the story.

Every single panel and plate I create is a 1-of-1 one of a kind heirloom. They are handcrafted pieces designed to bring the cosy, comforting weight of the British countryside and a little bit of magic into your home.

“Their strategic framework aligned our disparate processes and produced measurable gains within one quarter.”
